Interactive learning resources can be used in three ways: physical inclusion, cognitive inclusion, and cultural inclusion trying to ensure that the needs of all learners are met. Physiological and physical inclusion can be based on providing a comfortable environment for effective learning in the learning space, such as setting the temperature and providing special seating for people with disabilities. Cognitive inclusion can utilize a diversity base, such as multimedia instruction that provides students with different options. On the other hand, cultural inclusion eliminates different biases by learning about a large number of cultures from different backgrounds to achieve a learning environment that allows students to be comfortable in different contexts.
In the event of an unforeseen event, the first step should be to adapt the program to the situation. This means coming together and adjusting the learning plan with respect for everyone. You can choose anonymous submissions and vote for the next mode of study, which respects everyone’s choices and enhances your own inclusiveness. Then, set a common goal to accomplish based on the suggestions everyone makes. Set different smaller goals under the larger goal for everyone to choose to accomplish, but the end result is still to accomplish the common goal.
A potential barrier could be the language barrier. However, this can be done by students communicating with each other. For example, if some students are bilingual, they can be put into a group to help each other.
One example of inclusive design is playground equipment. Some landscape visitor facilities and spaces are designed for children under the age of twelve only, so the scale of facilities and landscape preferences used to be designed only according to children’s needs. But many children actually want to play with people of all ages, i.e., mixed needs of multiple age groups. Therefore, most amusement facilities are now designed for all ages to play. It’s like how sometimes a learning program only works for a portion of the population, but we can make it work for basically everyone by being inclusive.
